9 June 2008 - 0:41My Awful Expensive Vacation
- Canadian Tire credit card pusher nails us.
- Car breaks down on the highway with both front brakes ceased on.
- One fabulous 200 dollar ride to Bridgewater in a tow truck.
- Rented a PT Cruiser for the weekend, another 300 dollars.
- At the cabin, I promptly get drunk and fall asleep, the next day all my hotdogs are gone.
- Burned my knuckles fairly bad on the new BBQ I bought for the cabin.
- Go swimming with a pack of smokes in my shorts pocket.
- Slip off my inflatable dolphin and promptly go to the bottom of the lake with my drink in hand.
- Receive a 1300 dollar estimate for my car from Canadian Tire. Saying I need work done that I have already had done.
- Go to Bridgewater and my brother Dave fixes it in 15 minutes. Mom spots a yard sale.
- Get home to discover the cats had turned our bed into a litter box.
- Find out the next day from my brother that the car lot he works at just got a PT Cruiser in.
- Get financing from the dealership at a nice 29.5% interest rate.
- Go to the bank, receive a 15000 dollar line of credit at a much nicer interest rate.
- Buy the PT Cruiser, go back to work.
- Receive a letter from Canadian Tire Master Card, that we can not be approved for the credit card at this time.
