Well its Thanksgiving as we are all no doubt aware. About a week before this grand event, I received a call asking me to bring the pie. Sure no problem I thought, boy was I ever wrong.

What happened was this, I went to the local Sobeys only to find every pie imaginable except for pumpkin pie. Whats Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie? So I picked up some various pies, and then headed to Super Store.

Here I was in luck, they had pumpkin pies all over the place. But was I really in luck, no. All of their pumpkin pies looked like liquid shit in a pie shell. I couldn’t believe they were trying to sell these brown, liquid, sloppy pies.

In the end I ended up buying some frozen pumpkin pie. It was really the only option I had left. Maybe next year.
