About Me

Nothing overly complex here, I am currently employeed as a consultant working for Morgan Stanley. I have been working with them for over 5 years now and I am still going strong, great environment and people. Feel free to check out my resume for more details.

Family and friends are important to me, and I like to get away as often as I can to the family cottage for some summer time non-sense. Usually this involves me getting drunk then sunburned. Which just sufficiently irretates me to the point of not enjoying the rest of my trip. Oh well, I seem to do it time and time again.

I like to be outside and I am looking forward to a summer full of bbq and relaxing on the deck. I’d probably spend more time outside, except there is no where to plug in all the electronic gizmos that keep me so entertained. And if you haven’t guessed computers are my hobby. As well as my main source of income, I enjoy just about all aspects of them.

I also like coding in unix/linux and for the web. I have built many sites and projects over the years to explore and add on to my knowledge of perl, php, mysql and css. I’ve also dabbled in javascript, jquery, YUI and most recently ExtJs. Eventually I would like to eventually move into higher level languages and make development my full time career.
